About us
Musanada is an integral component of the Emirate’s vision of becoming one of the top governments in the world. We focus on bringing together and providing services that are common to multiple entities to bring efficiency savings, transparency and service improvements, thus enabling government entities to focus on delivering and improving core public services.

Musanada’s shared services are grouped across 3 domains; Building Services, Technology Services and Business Support Services.  Today, we provide the following shared services; Design-Procurement-Construction Management, Facilities Management, IT Project management, IT Service Management, Government-Wide Contact Centre, Travel Management and Office Consumables. This portfolio of services is set to grow over the coming years to meet the needs of our clients and Government sponsors.

Setting up Musanada

Abu Dhabi Government Restructuring Committee (ADGRC) was set up to identify specific government wide initiatives required to deliver the Emirate’s vision. A need for a Shared Services initiative was identified to consolidate common services (by eliminating duplication of effort and investment), create transparency and accountability (by reporting performance and creating consistent standards and controls) and leverage economies of scale (by pooling scaled experience).  ADGRC, after extensive benchmarking, developed Musanada’s set up strategy and business plan (as Abu Dhabi government’s shared services provider) working with management consultants. Musanada’s plan was built to deliver identified services (either directly or as Government Wide Agreements – GWAs) across 3 service groups: Building, Technology and Business Support.

What are shared services? And why do we need them?

Shared services are a collaborative practice designed to provide common services to multiple entities in order to bring efficiency savings and improved service quality. Usually provided across six key support functions – finance, HR, IT, procurement, corporate services and property management – a well implemented model will contribute significantly to:

  • Optimize Government resources
  • Focus departments on core responsibilities
  • Central accountability
  • Improved transparency
  • Higher quality of service
  • Cost effective service delivery
  • Common standards
  • Effective perivate sector partnering
More and more of the world’s top governments are turning to a shared services model and the Abu Dhabi Government, through Musanada, is keen to explore its potential and related benefits.
